SEC. 2. OPERATION STARFALL.
Not later than 45 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of the Air Force,
in consultation with the Chief of Space Operations, shall develop and begin implementation of "Operation Starfall",
a strategic plan to deploy stratospheric balloons, aerostats, or satellite technology capable of rapidly delivering
wireless internet anywhere on the planet from the stratosphere or higher.

EO Promoting Redemption of Savings Bonds

President Donald Trump issued an Executive Order Promoting Redemption of Savings Bonds on December 18, 2020.
Could a seismic monetary shift be on the horizon for the Restored Republic.
It is an ongoing pilot project to assess the feasibility and cost of digitizing & making these records searchable & accessible.
It is currently estimated that more than 75 million matured savings bonds, issued as far back as 1935, remain unredeemed. The total value of these unredeemed savings bonds is approximately $27 billion.

SWIFT plans new service, Digital EURO on the horizon

SWIFT announced plans for a new service to help banks improve the experience for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and consumers who send low-value payments across borders. The service will enable these bank customers to make faster, easier, predictable and competitively priced payments all around the world.
The European Central Bank (ECB) announced that it will start conducting experiments to decide whether to launch a digital euro. In a report setting out the pros and cons of launching a digital euro, the ECB said that it could support the Eurosystems objectives by providing citizens with a safe form of money in the fast-changing digital world.

Zimbabwe will introduce gold coins

The Monetary Policy Committee resolved to introduce gold coins into the market as an instrument that will enable investors to store value.
The gold coins will be minted by Fidelity Gold Refineries (Private) Limited and will be sold to the public through normal banking channels.
Also, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ), announced the review of interest rates and statutory reserves.
The measures come to combat the depreciation of the local currency, soaring inflation, and the threat of economic recession.
