Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that he supports Saudi Arabia's possible accession to the BRICS group.
Putin: Yes, we support. This requires a consensus of all countries.
Also, on 20 Oct, China voiced support for the expansion of BRICS membership after reports about Saudi Arabia showing its intention to join the group that presently comprises Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

Trump announces historic deal between Serbia and Kosovo

Serbia and Kosovo have agreed to normalize economic relations, following U.S.-brokered talks that include Serbia moving its Israeli embassy to Jerusalem and Kosovo formally recognizing Israel.
U.S. President Donald Trump made the announcement Friday, after meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in the Oval Office earlier in the day.

Zimbabwe will start issuing digital currency next month that is backed by gold.
On May 8, the public will be able to purchase a digital currency backed by gold from Zimbabwe's central bank.
Additionally, RBZ introduced smaller gold coins in weights of tenths of an ounce, quarters of an ounce, and half of an ounce.
The smallest coin weighs just over 3.11 grams and costs US$188.48 or its equivalent in local currency at the interbank rate.
